How are your fees compared to other Accountants?

Being a sole proprietor, the overheads are low so the savings are passing on to you without compromising the quality of service.  Using technology to maximize efficiency, and therefore, reduce the time, that time saving is also passing on to you.

How much do you charge for your services?

The services are based on a fair billing system.  Some services have set rates, others are based on the complexity of the engagement.

For example:

  • Corporate year-end – starting at $800 (Includes Federal and Provincial tax returns, T4/T5 information returns as needed, bookkeeping maintained by client).
  • Basic personal tax return – starting at $60 (Includes all T4, T4E, T5007, T4A(P), T4A(OAS), T4RSP, T5).
  • Self-employed (Bookkeeping maintained by client) with basic personal tax return – starting at $160.
  • Rental income/expenses per property (Bookkeeping maintained by client) with basic personal tax return – starting at $110.

Do you charge a retainer?

There is a deposit required for corporate tax services or compilation services that is payable at the time of accepting the engagement.  The remainder of the fee will be payable upon completion of service.
